- Worked on Sunday message, Weds Bible study, Devotional, and prayer time
- Call from Julie Meads, Winslow Nursing Home to discuss with me that I had not "given enough time" for the service I did for them last Tuesday. Told her that I was sorry and that if she felt she would want to use somebody else if she was not happy with me that she was welcome, but that I still wanted to do it. The conversation ended by her pulling me off the schedule.
- Called the Young family to discuss follow up about social services being contacted reguarding their grandchildren. Social services did visit, and that I would also be contacted for a reference in the future.
- Contacted Sylvia Parsons by phone about the matter regarding the nursing home. She said she would follow up on it, was unhappy about the way I was treated there.

On Tuesday, April the...
On Tuesday, April the 1st, I had my monthly ministry's fellowship at 11:00. I also met with Jerry Fleeman(?) and then with Fran Bright at Omoo(?) Hospital. Melvin Bright, at the nursing home I visited with Mr Smith Jackson and Kathleen Morse and then, at the Nursing Home Service, and then back with Mrs Sanders. Later on, I met with Francis, meets(?) and later with Alan McPherson. Drove 45.3 miles. listen

Yesterday March the...
Yesterday March the 4th I attended my lovely pastors fellowship then to the nursing home for the nursing home service, then I visited with Margery Sanders and then later in the afternoon I visited Amy Betz, Lisa Dwauk(?), Cindy Web, Ted and Darline Schneider, AJ and Kay Sowers and then Crystal and Jason Haul for counseling ministry appointment. I drove 48.3 miles. listen

Advices of the authority...
Advices of the authority has come about impose modernism where everyone feels that they can do whatever they want because every one's personal view point is valid holds the same authority as scripture. And therefore scripture authority is rejected over the authority of the individual. listen

We are suffering from...
We are suffering from a tremendous crisis of authority in our day to day. One of our problems is as Christians is that sadly we no longer trust the authority of the word of God, this shows that in our rejection of the authority of church leaders and even political government leaders say God has place over us to the point that everyone believes that he or she can do what is right in their own eyes just like that in the book of Judge where they believed that they were right in their own eyes. Therefore everyone i doing whatever they want to do and it creates a chaos and pandominium in the church. listen

Visitations and Acquire the Fire Meal
Today I visited with Jane Garrity and Megan Rogerson and family
following the death of Jane's mother Mrs. Kate Byrd. Also Mark
Rogerson (Jane's son) and brother Richard Coolie Harrell and wife
Janeal. Parker and Mark's daughter Paige. In that short time was
able to make several contacts-- the Harrell's church needs a preacher at
New Hope Community Church in Perquimans.

Afterward, went to the information dinner sponsored by Teenmania
Ministries. There we met Kevin Cool and Elijah Johnson from the
ministry talking to us about Acquire the Fire youth event in Norfolk
March 27-28. There were a few others present- namely Ed Hannah, whose
wife was at our church yesterday representing Albemarle Crisis Pregnancy
Center.
Got a vision for college age ministry too and discussed this with our
children during devotional time.
Drive total of 27.9 miles.
